The Jordanian Contractors Syndicate participated in the activities of the Arab International Authority for the Reconstruction of Palestine Forum, chaired by the Syndicate President Mr. Fouad Al-Duwairi, accompanied by Vice President Dr. Ma‘rouf Al-Ghannayem.
Syndicate President Fouad Al-Duwairi spoke about the role of the Syndicate in participating in the reconstruction of Palestine and Gaza, highlighting the donations made by Jordanian contractors in the past to support rebuilding efforts, as well as the technical studies conducted by the Syndicate on reconstruction.
Al-Duwairi emphasized that the Jordanian Contractors Syndicate Council and its members stand in solidarity with the Palestinian brothers and the people of Gaza, contributing to the reconstruction of Gaza following the brutal aggression by the occupation.
He detailed the equipment and machinery donated by Jordanian contractors for reconstruction, including construction and debris removal machinery, and noted that a complete list was provided to the Committee.
Al-Duwairi pointed out that debris removal and recycling will take about a year after dividing the area into zones, and that Jordanian contractors have donated their machinery to assist in rebuilding the region.
He also mentioned that the Syndicate has participated in numerous international conferences in countries such as the Czech Republic, Germany, and others to learn about methods of recycling materials for use in Gaza’s reconstruction, stressing the readiness and preparedness of Jordanian contractors to begin reconstruction work.
The Syndicate President confirmed that the Syndicate continues to coordinate with Jordanian contractors to secure available machinery and construction materials and to cooperate with the Supreme Committee for Gaza Reconstruction in providing them, contributing to the rebuilding efforts.
Al-Duwairi expressed his gratitude to the Islamic Development Bank, the strategic partner of the Authority, for its continuous support and funding of important projects in Palestine during this critical time for the people of Gaza.
At the conclusion of the event, the Arab International Authority for the Reconstruction of Palestine honored Syndicate President Fouad Al-Duwairi for the active participation of the Jordanian Contractors Syndicate in the Authority and its effective contributions to reconstruction projects.
